Screen Printed Refurbished Chair. The idea was to create a new seat cover for this vintage chair that worked together with the shapes and linear design of the chair itself. The deep maroon color was mixed and chosen by finding a color between the highlights of the chairs surface and also accented its crevices and shadows.

The quote is from the famous Beatnik book, "On the Road". It reads, "Because there was no where to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars." The typewriter represents the tool that the beatniks used to express themselves and seperate themselves from the dominent popular culture.
